Zircon is a 2-hour ambient video blending calming visuals and futuristic aesthetics. This futuristic 3D environment was firstly modelled in Cinema4D to shape the foundations of the scene. From there, I brought the world to life in Unreal Engine 5, where lighting, materials, and rendering added depth, vibrancy, and an immersive quality to the final result. I also composed the ambient music and sound effects in Ableton Live.
The stylistic vision draws from cyberpunk and futuristic sci-fi aesthetics, with their sharp, angular designs, glowing neon accents, and immersive interplay of light and shadow. Poolrooms and Liminal Spaces further influenced the design, inspiring the dreamlike atmosphere that bridges the line between the surreal and the tangible. This blend of techniques and inspirations creates a space that feels both cutting-edge and otherworldly, inviting viewers to lose themselves in its meditative tranquility.
